I have dreams of lying next to you. Wrapped in your arms, you kiss my forehead. Gentle touches fulfil voids of loneliness, and I’m left with nothing but content. But then the walls turn black, they begin to crack and it almost feels like the room we sat in was your heart. You become simply emotionless, the love you have for me is gone and I’m suddenly sitting there like a lost puppy. I feel confused and scared, and then you leave. Not a single word, a single look. You turn your back, and you leave.

“The greatest act of emotional abuse is going back to the person you’ve already broken while expecting them to be waiting for you with open arms as if you’re doing them a favor with your coming back.”— Juansen Dizon, Narcissist
Do you ever think “wow if I told myself 3 years ago that this would be happening- that this is how that would turn out- I wouldn’t have believed it.”
“Dying is overrated. Human sentimentality has twisted it into the ultimate act of love. Biggest load of bullshit in the world. Dying for someone isn’t the hard thing. The man that dies escapes. Plain and simple. Game over. End of pain…Try living for someone. Through it all-good, bad, thick, thin, joy, suffering. That’s the hard thing.”— Karen Marie Moning, Shadowfever
